Pricing?

We thought long and hard on how to simplify the buying process for our customers and unfortunately in the end we were unable to find a way to price the hundreds of possible services we can offer for your Steam Deck

With the difficulty of getting replacement parts into Australia, figuring out which parts our customers would like to opt for, and whether they'll be supplying their own parts we just had no easy way of  setting out a clear and consistent pricing structure for an endless number of potential services, shipping options and custom parts

We can however offer you pricing on BYO mod installation services

$129 install for a BYO 2230 SSD upgrade. This not only includes the physical installation of your customer supplied SSD, but the device will be formatted and installed with a fresh Steam Deck OS "SteamOS" Image.

$129 install of BYO Gullikit HAL effect thumb-sticks, which includes soldering of the touch sensors wiring.

$29 install of a custom rear/replacement back shell, such as Jsaux's transparent shells.

*No warranties are applied to customer supplied parts
*Discounts apply when multiple services are ordered
*Installation of a new SSD requires the deletion of all personal data, files and installed games, these files cannot be transferred (unless they're currently installed on an SD card)
*Return shipping is an added cost, we always prefer to use Australia Post Express w/ tracking

Can I just bring it to you?

Yes, you absolutely can! Just email us to organise a time. We're able to do upgrades at our Tullarmarine site (Melbourne) or our regional site in Churchill (Gippsland, Victoria). Most modifications can be completed within 24 hours.
